LET YOUR WORDS SHINE!!!

 This show is one of the most unique shows around.  Poetri not only performs his classic pieces that have been performed on three continents, but he also interacts frequently with students during performances.  To say Poetri is just a poet, is an understatement! Poetri puts on a show.  He is an entertainer.      If a student thinks they dis-like the art of poetry, then they have never experienced the likes of POETRI!

CHUMP OR CHAMP?

Poetri takes the class back to the “good old” days.  Who would have ever thought that a simple rock, paper, or scissors could be the deciding factor between a chump and a champ?

SPEAK NOW OR...       Students are given the opportunity to win prizes by effectively answering “trivia questions.”  Demonstrating the  use of the learned performance skills, they must persuade the audience that their answer is correct and their opponent’s is not.

College students are at a great stage in their lives.  They have so much to say and the energy to say it.  Poetri's performances and interaction with the students assist in providing for them the courage and confidence to say what is on their minds and in their hearts.  Seeing this fun-loving, energetic, bear of a man, share his experiences through heartfelt words and emotions, assures them that self expression is not only empowering, but very entertaining.  At the Conclusion of many show, Poetri is surrounded by students who share their new found love for poetry.  They now have the COURAGE to write.  The COURAGE to perform.  And the COURAGE to speak out!.
